I'm on the pill and have been for about 2 years. This past month I was 3 days in a row late taking my pills and my boyfriend and I are sexually active, I did start to spot a bit yesterday and I've been using regular size tampons but the are almost all white every time I take them out. I've been having these symptoms -Nauseous, sore/harder breasts, dizziness, headaches- for about a week (I usually only get headaches and cramps with PMS) also my pulse has been high the past 2-3 weeks (not sure if that constitutes to anything). I'm just wondering is it possible that I am pregnant. Someone said told me that it could be the pills giving me a "withdrawal" period can that happen?
I know you can't diagnose me from here but has anyone else experienced the same thing? Your time is appreciated.

Hi Audra! Every day that goes by that you miss the BCP increases your chances of becoming pregnant - SLIGHTLY!!! Of course there are many different scenarios - such as WHEN you missed them, below is a very good link about the chances of pregnancy! You are at more of an increase of ovulation - 1 in 10 - if you miss the pills for 7 days or more

Different pills have different concoctions of hormones, so depending on what you are taking - either a combination pill or just progesterone - COULD affect the chances of you being pregnant or not!!!!! I obviously can't tell you if you are having symptoms of PMS or pregnancy. I would suggest that you take a pregnancy test and find out either way! OR wait to see if you are late or not! Please let me know how you make out OK? Good luck and health!
