Hi- I am 26 years old and starting a few years ago I have been having what I call restless uterus syndrome. It usually happens VERY infrequently but the last two weeks or so (which have been very stressful) it has been happening every couple nights!! I lie down to go to bed- and it starts. My uterus and v agina feel, for lack of a better word, restless! There is pressure, but no pain, almost like the feeling you get with a UTI but I have had many of those in my life and I know that's not it ! It ONLY happens at night when I lay down for bed, there is NO pain and I know for sure I am not preggers! But ths feeling it SO intense I cannot get comfortable to sleep and it makes my whole body restless (i even get so frustrated i start to get mild anxiety!) and I have to get up and move around, it reminds me of my boyfriends restless leg syndrome without the pain and muscle spasms. Sometimes external pressure relieves the feeling, lieing on my stomach or putting a pillow between my legs, but not on nights when its really intense. HELP!! Is there anyone else experiencing this? Is it a vitamin deficiency of some sort? How do I make it stop? I WANT TO SLEEEEEEP! I have done lots of Internet research and can't find anything that quite fits my symptoms. Yes I know I should tell my doctor, but I don't LIKE my doctor and how do you tell a male gyno that you have a restless vagina and uterus?
I think they might be getting ready to evacuate and run away from home.
Please tell me I'm not alone in this!

This sounds exactly like my problem. You and I are close in age, and symptoms started for me a few years ago as well.
Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you. I haven't asked my doctor about this either, but I am thinking that I will the next time I see her. I have searched the internet for an explanation but haven't found anything.
I see my doctor soon. Perhaps I will have an answer for the both of us after that visit.

I'm a little late to the convo here, but I have the exact same issue!! I'm also close to your age and have not talked to my doctor about it. I'm wondering if you've talked to yours yet or figured out what's wrong?
