Hello, I would like to know a bit more about the food allergies. I am 27 years old and I have been diagnosed with a peanut allergy. How dangerous is it? I know that I can avoid the symptoms by simply avoiding eating peanuts, but is there something else I should know? What is the prognosis for severe food allergies? Do you know?

Well, peanut allergy is a tricky one; it will possibly follow you for a long time, if not for entire life. This means that you will have to eliminate peanuts and similar things from your menus. If you are a kid you would have about 20% chance to overcome this allergy. But now, I am afraid that you will have to endure it for many years.
