It seems like our youngest kid has a peanut allergy! He is 4 years old and he has tried peanut butter for the first time and developed a skin rash after only couple of hours. Is this something serious? What should I know about peanut allergy? How can we help him?

Well, the only effective way to prevent the allergy is to avoid the allergen completely. This means that there will be no peanuts for him anymore. And there is small chance that this allergy will be gone, but it is really a small chance. Anyway, you should also check for some additional allergies that might be present in him, but still not discovered.
