As April has already told you, the treatment of this infection can last somewhere between six and nine months and sometimes is very difficult to drink antibiotics for that long. But it is very important that you do, otherwise infection could go back and you will be in much bigger trouble. I hope that you are doing everything that your doctor has prescribed, and that you are avoiding situations which could make your condition worse. It is very important to fully recover from this, otherwise your immune system will suffer because of taking antibiotics for so long.
