I would assume so. Don't feel ashamed or sad, feel happy for being open to having sex with either gender! It means twice the opportunity. Anyways, I wouldn't recommend having a sexual relationship with a friend of yours. It can end up ruining the entire relationship, and you can feel really shitty about losing a friend afterwords.
However, whatever feels good, go for it!
