I am currently unemployed but I used the last of my money to go to a health clinic. They tested my urine for bacteria and found none. She sent me home and told me to use cortizone 10 and wash with selsen blue because she thought it was a fungal infection. This has been over two months ago and I am out of money so I have no way of going back to the doctor. The redness and burning still exists and it bothers me everyday. I have tried changing my diet to eliminate yeast and breads which did not work. I have tried three different anti-fungal ointments separately for a week. I have tried using monistat for a week. I have used a triple anti-biotic ointment as well. I have no discharge of any kind. It just itches and burns horribly. It just looks like a redness around the opening. I have changed my washing detergents to sensitive skin. I have bought new underwear. I have changed my shampoo and soaps to not perfumed. Any idea how I can get help for this without having any kind of money. What do I do?

That sounds very annoying. Perhaps you should just try leaving it be for a week. Don't touch it. Don't wash it with soap. Just rinse it with warm water every day or every other day but don't rub it or touch it. It sounds like the skin is irritated. If that doesn't work, move to Canada and get free health care!
