Hello, I am a 20 year old guy who just got out of a relationship with a girl.
It was for two months, and we both had unprotected sex because I have been tested and am clean and she recently just got tested to and she was clean.
Since the break up I noticed that me penis was getting red, it burned when I urinated (it has a oder now to) and I was a getting white discharge on the head of my penis. Theres no bumps or sores or anything like that.
I went to the doctor and I got tested for STDS and still haven't heard anything back. He said it was probably chlyamedia, gonarria or thursh, which can be treated with Anti-Biotices. He gave me Penicillin to take care of the bacterial infection in my throat that I had.
Its been about a week and the symptoms are starting to go away, its still itchy but the burning, an redness are gone and its just a little itchy and theres only a little white discharge.
I am waiting for the results right now and haven't heard anything back just yet which is a good sign.
So my question is What does it sound like this is?
Note: I know this may just be paranoia, but I went swimming at the lake around the same time as the break up and I changed bare foot in a port a potty (I know bad choice). Is there anyways that I could of got a std that was on the ground from other peoples waste and got it on my shorts and then could of touched my penis and got my infected that way?

well..you had urethral discharge which is whitish,that surely sugests some std,esp chlamydia ang gonnorea...
you might have got the infection form the water place you went for swimming,in such placeses where people bath together gonnorea is verry common!!
if even after taking your full course of medicine,u are having the discharge you should switch to some other drug..and get you partner checked for it too...

Thank you, I am still waiting for the results and am waiting to see if whats wrong. I am defiantly going to go back tot he doctor after work tomorrow and see what the results said (the urine one takes about 2- 3 days to get the results back from)
I am just hopeing (never though I would say that) that its gonnorea or something like that because it can be treated with anti-biotics. I am just freaked that its not something much worse or that it was caused by something like genital herbes or warts or something. But the doctor said thats not the case.

no,its surely not a case of viral,i mean herpes..u would have warts instead not the discharge! and moreover herpes does not spread from a water source,its strictly std!!!

So you think it sounds like one of the ones that the doctor suggested? one that can be treated with anti biotics?

yup,but m not sure penicilline will eliminate d infection well, coz inspite of being 1st line drug for gonnorea,lots of drug resistence has occured...so incase symptoms persist go for better antibiotics!!

I went and saw the doctor and he told me that they all came back negative and what it proboly was, was the bacteria infection that I had in my throat, and since it was there for so long that it proboly just spread. But he said the good news is that I feel better and the penicilin helped take care of everything.

onetwothree123, It was probably just a simple bladder infection. I had one in july and my symptoms were almost the same. The infection is most commonly cause by some sort of fecal bacteria that came in contact with your urethra. I cured mine by chugging losts of cranberry juice and it was back to normal after about a week
