I am 28 years old and have had this same problem with the bump by my urethra opening. It was filled with and orangish liquid, assuming puss mixed with blood. I only knew that because I opened it myself. I know that sounds gruesome but it helped. The pain went away but every 3-6 months it back. I went to the gyno after i opened it and she couldn't tell anything so i might have to go to the urologist instead. If you want the irritation to go away and can't get to a doctor soon enough, just open it yourself with sissors and have alcohol or peroxide handy. But only if you think something is in it. I swear it works everytime, I just had one today and had to do it.

I, of course, have something similar. but I think its larger  and bleeds almost constantly. Im freaked out!! I kind of wan to say its a urethral prolapse because I can make it go in and out, but I have no clue!  I can touch it and there isnt really any pain. oh I noticed it after I got a uti that turned into a kidney infection. Im very freaked out! and am afraid of doctors, what should I do??? > o<;;

The growth coming out of a womans urethra is called a caruncle. These are quite common and 99 % benign. When my urologist saw mine he wasnt concerned at all. It should be removed as they will only get bigger, but they have to cut it out leaving a stitch and a catheter in for two days. I have yet to have mine done.

I am 19 and a virgin a few weeks ago I noticed something similar during my cycle it wasn't sensitive or bother me using the restroom just noticeable. Well by the end of my cycle it had pretty much went away. Today I noticed another that was a lil painful on the other side of my urethra i did some research because it started to scare me and am pretty sure it's a cyst. This is some of what i found so i recommend you read it Lump Near My Urethral Opening. I will be going to the doctor next week to make sure it's nothing more serious.

I have the same thing. I think it's because the bacteria that normally break down oxalate are no longer in your digenstive tract so it gets excreted in your urine and irritates the vulva, esp at the urethral opening. But i'm going to the gyno to see.

I have a slight bladder prolapse (since the birth of my son) and it's led to quite a few minor complications...all nothing to worry about according to the Drs I've seen about them. *Bladder prolapse looks like a red round lump pushing down into the vagina when you look at it standing up and it almost disappears if you look lying down. It feels like a strange, painless but very evident pressure/sinking feeling/pulling sensation inside your pelvis/vagina and sometimes when I sit for a long time or on a hard chair/ride a bike it feels a little tender but not painful. *Because of this the shape of my vagina has changed and is more 'squashed' (for want of a better word) which has led to a little baked bean size growth on the back wall of the opening of my vagina. This is a polyp and they grow where there's lots of friction/in squahsed places. *Because of the 'squash' (hehe) I have a lot more trapped moisture...(ok, not nice to write but I'm guessing you want answers)...and I've had thrush because of it. All in all though...my dr said a mild prolapse and polyps that aren't painful and are the same colour as the other skin down there are normal and require no treatment unless I hate them or they hurt in some way. Hope it helps x
