Last year, my then 24 year old, contracted pneumonia and flu at the same time. During this, she acquired sepsis. Needless to say, she is fortunate to be alive. 11 months later, she is still not totally healed. A couple of months ago, she was diagnosed with 'sero-negative rheumatoid arthritis' by an immunologist. The rheumotologist she saw afterwards didn't think she had it but did no tests, since she was on a steroid. If anyone reading this has been diagnosed with 'sero-negative RA', I'd appreciate very much knowing initial symptoms, treatments you may be on, etc. She previously was diagnosed with fibromyalgia before she came down with the flu. Thanks...
