I was having sex with my husband last December and it was hurting, that was when I discovered the cyst. So I had it removed in January, and that all seemed to go fine, but it still really really hurts when he penetrates me at all. I can't hardly even work up to where it doesn't hurt no matter how slow we go. It's been 3 months, that is way longer than my Dr. said I would need to wait (3 weeks). Has anyone else experienced this? I'm afraid if I go back to the Dr. they are just going to tell me it's all in my mind. I don't know what to do.

your doctor might have made an incision from the inside of the vagina and thus left scar tissue. that is what is causing the pain.
try and give it a bit more time to recover !

I am experiencing the same. I got operated 6weeks ago. It is really painful at the time of penetration. I will be meeting my doc soon for the same. I hope this can be resolved.
