My wife is 23 we are trying for a baby. She is normal in her cycle but she is late by 2 days. We have done a home pregnancy test and it was negative.... Please help

Testing early, false negatives are common. Be sure that when you are testing you ONLY use her very first morning urine, wakeup urine. It is more concentrated so more likely to give an accurate result.
If you've done that, give it another 7-10 days and retest. Sometimes the home tests just don't work for all women. If still "negative" and if she hasn't had her period by then, she should see her doctor for a blood test.
