interesting post and replies i was just doing an online search as i usually like to in the morning hunting for answers or reading.I have the same issue with headaches and shooting pain and the random occupational eye spasm/twitching.I do have a problem in my neck as well the curve of my neck is considered as having  neck Reversal and compressing of the vertebrae  I've worked hard labor and lifting heavy things also had a few incidents i can recall where my neck or head may have also been affected.I am otherwise a healthy person but i must say its interesting to see the connection between these symptoms and certain neck injuries. Good to know your not alone or imagining things . if everyone is generally suffering the same type problems they do seem to stem form the spine. Hoe everyone does what they need to do to feel better and reduce stress in their lives as well as their minds and body.

Sounds like a "Cluster" headache..... I get them and Imitrax relieves them or a shot of Torodol.

The doctors who dont find anything..yeah they will think that your crazy...It is ashame they have this technology and still cant seem to find the answer to your problems. Then we have to go on for yrs not knowing what is going on with us, until it is to late at times. I am glad that I am not the only one going throught all of this. I understand were you is coming from 100%. If you find out any thing please let me know..Thanks Rhonda

I have the same problem too, only just this morning I went through it again. Immense pain leading from the back of my left eye, through out to the top of my head. I actually started vomiting, due to the pain I had experienced, I'm only 14 1/2 i've experienced it for about 8-10 months, it comes and goes every few months.

Yeah, I can relate I usually get this if i have been at school all day and haven't drunk much water. Last night I had a Basketball game and I didn't drink much water after or during the game. Woke up the next morning with the pain in my eye and neck.

You are definitely not a hypchondriac. I suffer with behind my left eye pain, in the left side temple area and left side top of the head. I also have major spinal problems from arthritis and a Chiari malformation with syringomyelia/ My pain has been contributed to the nerves that come from the upper spine and that makes sense. Since your MRI identified a degenerative disease and a bulging disc. I think that this may be your problem, have you had arthritis tests to find if you have this insidious degenerative disease. I developed arthritis in my early 30's. I wish you well and hope that you have found the correct diagnosis since putting this over the net.

I have suffered from shooting pain behind my left eye, left side temple and top of head. I have arthritis throughout my spine and syringomyelia (fluid filled spinal cord) that damages the nerves that exit from C2/C7 and travel up the side of the neck to control the area involved. Have had neurosurgery 23 years ago but pain still exists, I have just had to manage it with pain killers and thinking positibe thoughts - the pain never goes but can be reduced to a level that is more tolerable.

I have been suffering sharp pain on left eye for years I visited several doctors trying to find a solution but non of them ever did anything about it. I take pills and it goes away after several weeks but months after it comes back. I really don't know what to do.

This is crazy... nobody really knows what the deal is. One thing that stood out with some posts is the degenerative what not. I was told i had degenerative joint disease a couple of years back. Looked this up because i just had that sharp pain come and go about three times a few minutes ago. Out of nowhere and than its gone. No explanation. I feel it behind my left eye and temple. Im sure all of you have felt its your brain, as have I. Almost like a brain freeze. Well, im glad im not the only one.
