Hi, I am having shooting pain from back of right eye to the top of my head. Started yesterday. I have a history of migraines but this is different. I have had dizziness lately and twitching of the right eye/eyebrow. I also have fibromyalgia, but once again, this is different.

I have ALL these symptoms... all the crappy diagnosis too. fibromyalgia etc.. turns out i could have lyme disease. my son has just been diagnosed with it after 2 years of seeing different 'experts' .. my symptoms are the same as yours, his were bad knee joints and anterior uveitis. My new md thinks its very likely that i contacted it at the same time.. Ive had all the scans etc to rule all the bad stuff out.. Im in the UK

The symptoms of the original post are EXACTLY what I have. I have a sharp shooting pain on top of my left side of my head the shoots down behind my left eye. I sometimes hold my left nostril as though that could help. I have incredible tinitus for a long time but lately, it is worse than ever. I have tingling numbness in both hands but especially right. I suffer through migraines often but this is different. I know I have tension in my neck and often visit chiro. I have read chiro helps this problem so will see one today but if anyone has found out any more info on what this is, please share. It is strange that the symptoms expressed by the original poster read as though I could have written this myself..

Hi I've had pains behind both of my eyes for a while now I've had a recent eye appointment to said I have no glaucoma pressure was fine I do have diabetes they said everything was fine however as I type this my left eye about an hour ago I got sudden sharp pains on the behind the top of my left eye and it's debilitating pain it hurts so bad I don't have a stuffy nose I don't have sinusitis they did mention it's my thyroid was slightly low but I don't know what that has to do with an eye pain I can hardly take the pain and I've taken to Oxycodone 20 I almost feel it feel like I have to go to ER if the pain doesn't let up soon
