I have recently moved into the neigbourhood where there are reported problems with meth users. Money was the reason for choosing this neigbourhood and I’m not happy for it, therefore I must ask if anyone can tell me something about short-term effect meth leaves on users so I can be on the alert.

Methamphetamine effects depend on the method of administration. It can have almost immediate effects when it is injected, or it can take longer than a half hour if ingested orally. The “rush” that is experienced is followed by paleness, irregular or rapid heartbeat, headaches, trembling, dizziness. Profound sweating and stomach cramps are also evident and the skin is often full of open sores in chronic meth addicts.
