For some time now I have had shortness of breath. It is not all the time. Sometimes I get effected by a small amount of physical effort other times it effects me when I exert myself fully. I also have a feeling of a lump in my throat with alot of gas after eating.

Hi,

There are various reasons for breath shortness and sometimes it isn’t medical emergency in question. Do you smoke? It is a known fact that smokers have problems with breath shortness and this is more noticeable when they are doing some physical activity such as running or just climbing up the stairs. So if you are a smoker the only way to stop this is to quit with that nasty habit. And if you think it isn’t possible or that is way too hard I can sure you it is easy and you need to be strong for the first three days. After that it is piece of cake.

However, if you are not smoker and you are easily losing your breath it would be wise to check this with your doctor.
