Hi everyone!
I recently moved to Japan, where I came down with some type of cold/sinus bug. It started off serious - I had a fever of 102.8, couldn't move my neck, blah. So I went to the doctor near me and they put me on an antibiotic for a week. However, that didn't kick my sinus problems, though it did get rid of the fever and aches. That was 4 weeks ago. Now I'm stuck with a severely clogged nose, 2 painful lymph nodes under my chin and one very large one on the right front of my neck.
My energy level seems fine, I'm just worried about having this bright yellow/green/brown snot for over a month and a hard lump on the right side of my neck. I'm not terribly hip on going back to the doctor though, due to language barriers as well as cultural barriers. I've read things about semi-acute to chronic sinusitis and polyps, all of which require tests I don't know how to get here.
Any advice? Thanks!
