So basically, I'm now taking Microgestin Fe 1/20 and so far it's been alright (I guess). I've been taking it for a little over a month. I've been wanting to try and skip my period by skipping the placebo pills for awhile now, because my period is extremely inconvient for me most of the time. When I tried this while taking Sprintec (the birth control I took before Microgestin) it didn't work at all and I had spotting. When I tried it on Microgestin with my FIRST pack, I skipped it completely! I was happy about this at first but now I'm kind of worried. My doctor told me that it would take a couple of months for my body to adjust to not having a period so I was definitely not expecting to skip it this easily. It's been a week and two days since I started the new pack, and I still haven't even seen a little blood. I had PMS symptoms (fatique, cramping, feeling like my period was going to come at any minute)at the beginning of the week around the time I was supposed to have my period, but it never came! Now that it's been a couple of days, feeling like my period is going to come at any second HAS stopped, but I have a strange feeling in my stomach and my breasts go from being sore one minute, to being fine the next. I also feel very tired but that's a normal thing for me usually. I haven't had any frequent urination or anything like that, though. See why it's so confusing?? I HAVE read that you can still have PMS symptoms if you skip your period, and it just won't come at all, and for some women they'll have spotting. I guess it's different for everyone so that's why I just don't know what's going on. I had sex about 6 days after I started taking Microgestin, and I heard that you're supposed to wait about 7 days before having sex so you're completely protected. I assumed I was fine since I heard that you're protected for a little while after you stop taking your birth control. And since I started taking Microgestin not too long after I stopped taking Sprintec, I was assumed I was fine also. Oh, and I should also mention that I ALWAYS take my active pills every single day at the same time, so it's not like I could be pregnant from not taking them when I should. I'm mad at myself because I'm finally skipping my period, but I'm also freaking out that I could be pregnant somehow. Is that even a possibility, or am I just scaring myself?
