36 year old male
two days ago I noticed a red nodule about half the size of a bb on the right side of my scrotum. no pain or other abnormalities in the groin area at that time.

Today this nodule has changed to blue and is very sensitive. If my leg brushes against it there is a sharp burning that goes away almost immediately. There are no additional abnormalities in the groin area.
Although I have not had any testicular trauma, I have on occasion felt slight symptoms of trauma to the right side of my groin. I have experienced these symptoms for about the last week.

After a few hours of searching the internet, I can't come close to finding any symptoms similar to this one so I posted an extreme close-up picture of this condition in the hopes that seeing the condition will assist in diagnosis. The image should not offend. very close up picture.

This looks like angiokeratomas of Fordyce. They are benign bumps composed of surface blood vessels. You may develop one or over 100. They could be red, or dark blue, or purple. They usually don’t hurt unless they are rubbed or scratched and in these situations they may even bleed.

They usually form in people who are around 40 or older.

However, you may have see a doc to confirm this.

Thank you Natalia.

I did not see a doctor however, I believe your diagnosis was correct. I experienced pain if the area was rubbed or scratched.

I am not sure the proper method of treatment but I applied some aloe vera gel and it seemed decrease the pain and within 24 to 48 hours the irritation was gone and there was little or no trace of the infliction.
