I have recently turned 17 and i have a small hard nodule in the right side of my scrotum. it appears to be detached from my testes on my right side bt it has a small string connecting it to somewhere. its small, about the size of a sunflower (only thing i can think of) seed bt has a rounder regular shape. im not sure what it is an find it quite worrying. does any1 have any suggestions and what should i do?????

It sounds like a spermatocele to me. However, spermatocele are more common in older men, those over 40. Spermatocele are connected to the epididymis, a tube that lies on the testicles. These cysts that consist of dead sperm and some milky fluid are usually hard and appear on top of the testicles.
This epididymis I mentioned that sits on top and at the back of the testicles is lumpy. You could be feeling one of these lumps but if your nodule is like extended and you could clearly see it or feel it, then you should have it checked by an urologist.
This would be the smartest thing to do. It will easy your mind and let you know what your nodule really is.
