i think i have a yeast infection as a result of my birth control pills. but it's been almost 3 weeks where my vagina burns when i have intercourse and it burns more when i urinate (not the process of urination) today in the shower i accidentally scratched and what seemed to be skin came off. the skin didnt peel or anything, i just scratched and under my nails there was something white that felt kind of like dead skin. when i looked, there is this red spot... it doesnt have bumps or anything, it's just really red and i kind of burned a bit. i've been having protected sex for 2 years, but i am 100% sure it's not an STD (i live with my BF and we spend TOO much time together, haha.) i also donated blood 6 a little under months ago. please help.

I'd suggest you see a gyno. You can't really know what type of infection you're dealing with w/o diagnostics.
