Over the past few years, I have had numerous X-Rays taken of my spine, including CTScans and MRIs, but my question refers only to traditional radiology..
At the hospital, all such X-Rays have been done with me prone on the usual (cold, hard) table, but at the Chiropracter's, I've been in a sitting position.
The Chiropractor tells me that a much better evaluation of the condition of my spine can be achieved when I'm sitting, rather than lying on a table.
It is certainly true that the X-Rays are far clearer and the damage more easily seen using the Chiropractor's methods (to my eyes), so
obviously, I'm wondering why Radiologists don't utilize this method, rather than the usual, horizontal positioning.
Anyone with expertise in this area is welcome to respond..in other words, HELP!! %-)
Thanks, I hope
