Spotting after having baby after period has returned

I recently had a baby at then end of October. I quit bleeding totally like after 6 weeks. My first period returned when the baby was around 8 weeks old. I bled for approx. 7 days. The bleeding completely quit, then a few days later I had light spotting. I only notice it a few times a day. Is this normal? Should I get it checked out?

hey there im goiing through the same thing right now. now it stopped all the way the spotting and im supposed to get my period on the 21st of this month. still havent gotten them. i used pull out method and hope im not pregnant again.
