Hi I'm just wondering if topical beauty products containing st johns wort (as well as other ingredients and oils) would have any affect on birth control pills being effective.

birth control is made effective by fluctuating your body's hormones in order to fool your cycle and to help prevent prgnancy, the use of a topical substance is not probable to cause birth control to be ineffective, however upon becoming pregnant some topical substances should be avoided as to not cause burning or other serious issues with a baby. ask your doctor about what substances to avoid
