I am a 25 year old female. I douched with a mild water and douche and then had sex three times. I am not used to having a lot of sex, so I became very sore and the outside of my vagina had been rubbed raw. After that my underwear is stained with a white discharge, it does neither smell nor itch, and at times it seems like a lot. It really is only uncomfortable because I feel wet all the time. The outside of my vagina is not red or irritated. I know that it is normal for women to have a discharge but this doesn’t seem normal to me.

As I understood your underwear is stained with white vaginal discharge. Vaginal discharge may be normal, usually physiological and causes no discomfort and abnormal caused by infections or lesions in the cervix or in the vagina. You didn’t say if you have protected sex or not and I am not a doctor…so in case you haven’t any protection you may have STD or some infection like cervicitis. It can have infective and non-infective origin. It is more serious if due to an infection and it is therefore more important to exclude it to prevent complications such as Tubal Infection and Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. Infective origin is commonly due to STDs such as Chlamydia, Gonorrhoeoa, Mycoplasma, Ureaplasma, and Genital Herpes and non-infective causes of discharge from the cervix may be due to cervical polyps and intrauterine contraceptive devices (IUD).
