I've had similiar problem and many of the same pains as other's in this forum. However like many in this forum I need to find the best solution. I've benched heavy since I was 17. My routine has always been do more weight with more reps, and my muslces would get stronger. In college I benched 320Lbs with a pause witha body weight of 170lbs. NOw the after math I am only 26, and I now see and feel the joint problems in my chest. I have the exact feeling that someone already posted. They said they stopped working out for a few weeks and felt the sharp pain. When they worked out again it went away. What the problem? I've even read about John Ritter and other baseball layers that had arota. COuld this be the problem or is it a broken sternum. I wish they had a workout for people like us because I'm not much of a runner and I enjoy lifting. Now I am gaining some unwanted pounds. Please help:)
