I have just discovered at age 54 that I have a stomach reaction every time I take medication orally. Would like to know what causes a person to become so ill when taking medication orally... weakness, fever, chills, stomach swells, nauseated, headache and deconcentrated.

Is this happening every time when you take medication? And if it happens every time did you pay attention which medications are you using? Maybe you have allergy reaction to certain medications, but it is very hard to say from these few lines that you have written.

He can direct you to the allergist who can perform allergy test on your blood sample. If you are allergic to something you will know in next few days.
