Its been a month and couple of weeks since Ive stopped the pill. and its been 35days now since my last period, ive been having really bad cramps and no periods yet and took a pregnancy test it came back negative....any suggestions or do I need to go see a doctor? Please help....

This is happening to me too, almost the exact same situation. I have been doing a lot of research on line, and it says it is normal. I guess it's our bodies way of producing hormones again. I know I would feel more comfortable if I was at least bleeding! There are some theories, some say it could be a cyst, other things that are a little to scary to even think of. But I would wait it out just a little longer. Most pages say it could be three months before you have a period again after stopping the pill. Best of luck. I'll be right there with you.

ok i was on my current pill for 6 months stopped taking it in dec had a period in jan and not in feb 3 days late i have taken 2 tests but they say the more you stress the longer it takes it is freaking me out though ive never had this happen i have had headaches cramps my normal sweets craving all the period stuff minus the period grrr its irritating and my husband is freaking out lol

I have been on yaz for 6 years. 3 months ago I stopped taking them and my last period was on May 11th. I went to the dr for a blood pregnancy test since I had negative home tests and my hormone levels came back off and showed my liver is lifted. I was told I might have cancer or a cyst on my liver and that I might have PCOS. But it sounds like my periods have stopped hopefully because of my birth control. Has anyone else had or heard of a lifted liver?? I've had a cat scan and ultrasound. Next I have to get a MRI to see if it's cancerous.

Same thing happening here! Been on the pill for 2 years almost three. Stopped the pill, used condom or pulled out. No period in almost 2 months now. Bloated, crampy, gassy, nausea, headaches. Took 2 tests at gyno, both negative. It seems to me this is often occurring in discontinuing the pill. May just be our hormones!!!
