Hi, noticed your post - I've had these symptoms for quite a while. Was wondering if you ever found out what it was?? Would appreciate any type of insight.

You need treatment for the sciatic nerve as it sounds like there's an impingement somewhere down the line and treatment could be as simple as a remedial massage or physio exercise

Three years ago I had a caesarean. In recovery I had a stabbing pain and thought it would kill me. Since then I have had a large bulge on my left side and pain before my period. I also get the pulsating when my bowls become irritated. I took an antibiotic yesterday and had diarrhea. This may my left side will not stop pulsating. I had a cat scan and a mri in the past.

Hi I can see a pulsating in my abdomen when lying down cant feel it pulsating though I went to my P and she checked my abdomen and said it was ok but 2 weeks on I am still having the same problem I recently had an angiogram for my heart and it was all good

I get these protruding pulsating bulges along the left side that actually get so bad that they control my heart rhythm until I do something to make it stop so my heart will be quiet and let me sleep.
There’s at least two points, one is to the upper left of my naval and the other is to the left of my bladder.
They always hurt especially when they start the heart pounding and pulsating.
Here’s what happened before they grew into an issue:
I was constipated all the time and had fecal impactions. One day I pulled a compaction out that slowly dragged my colon out with it. Toilet full of blood. My rectum and my life has never been the same, its been 3 years- i have rectal prolapse now, it’s literally impossible for me to have a bowel movement on my own and there’s no longer space in my colon to even let fecal matter build up. I feel my insides ripping and organs failing, get kidney pain, pancreatitis attacks- until I fill an enema bucket with 40 ounces of filtered water and flush out my entire colon for as many buckets as it takes.
It has now gotten so bad, that if I don’t do the irrigation every morning, those points will bulge and pulsate and create obstructions.
I found that what creates the pulsating bulge that throws me into hypertension to the left of my bladder is always from a tiny piece of hard feces stuck there that can’t move or let anything past it. (I had to stop taking miralax or any laxative because I will become so sick from backed up diarrhea).
It will also have strands and strings and ribbons of what looks like dead tissue coming out with the tiny piece of feces when I dislodge it.
Then everything else will come out with the water, and then that one spot near my navel will calm down too, and after about 2-3 hours of this irrigation, I’m finally free to go on with my life.
There’s nights where my heart will start pounding and then I feel one of my points pulsating too, and I have to get up and do the irrigation or I can’t sleep.
I have been through hell being gas lit and turned away by drs and told I’m just constipated or, simply told nothing at all is wrong. I will finally have insurance to see a specialist and i at least saw one who so far confirmed I have rectal prolapse or herniated rectum into the vagina.
So here’s what I’ve suspected:
These points are from inflamed tissue (perhaps scarred) that push up against an artery or the aorta, causing excess pressure to the artery or aorta, thus resulting in the symptoms experienced.
By reducing the amount of pressure put on the artery or aorta, it can settle down a bit.
The left side is where the colon can get backed up and usually is where most colon issues start up, and happen from pelvic floor disorders, PMS or menstruating, so much can mess with that area and cause part of the colon or even small bowel to get backed up and inflamed.
Sometimes we go to the bathroom but we didn’t have a full complete bowel movement or we ate late in the night or something different than usual or off schedule, and we have more moving on it’s way out later on, after we already had our morning bowel movement.
I would consider trying out different things to rule out the possibility of fecal matter adding pressure to a sensitive point in you that’s inflamed along the artery or aortas pathway, even if you have no bowel issues or concerns.
Just try irrigation next time it’s acting up and see what’s happens.
But never ever do it wrong. Follow tutorials online. Do not insert the tube deeper than an inch or two and don’t strain.

It is difficult to determine the exact cause of a pulsating mass without a proper medical examination, but it is important to seek medical attention right away to rule out any serious conditions.
A pulsating mass in the upper abdomen could be due to an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), which is a bulge in the aorta that can be life-threatening if it ruptures. Other possible causes of a pulsating mass in this area could include a swollen lymph node, a cyst, or a hernia.
It is recommended that you see a doctor as soon as possible for a thorough physical examination and diagnostic tests, such as an ultrasound or CT scan, to determine the cause of the pulsating mass. It is important not to delay seeking medical attention if you are experiencing any symptoms such as abdominal pain, back pain, or difficulty breathing, as these could be signs of a serious condition.
Let us know if you find anything and good luck.
