SUBOXEN & XANAX

no its extremely dangerous. You have to be really careful of anything that you take wiht suboxone and the real big thing is, not most dr's know or heard about subuxone...especially in the ER. make sure you STRESS to the dr's that your taking this drug and describe what it is....I personally almost died because a dr. didnt "heed" my warning when I told him what i was on. I would hate to see that happen to others. Your dr. should give you a card that describes what this drug is and how to work with it. Make sure you get one and make sure you carry it with you.

i was taking oxy's,methadone(20m.g. a day) been off both for over a year,however i started soboxen,about a year ago,i am now almost out i have weaned myself down to a half of a half of an orange 8m.g.,HOW DO I GET OFF OF THEM COMPLETELY,AND IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO IT AND STILL GO ON WITH DAILY TASKS?CAUSE WHEN I TRIED 3 OR 4 DAYS WITHOUT THEM,I HAD NO MOTIVATION AND THE NO LEGS FEELING,AS IN NO STRENGTH IN THE LEGS&JUST FOUND MYSELF PROCRASTINATING TO THE POINT WHERE THE WHOLE DAY PASSED AND I DID NOTHING,TAKING A SHOWER BECAME A TASK,IS IT ALL MENTAL?AND DO I HAVE TO FORCE MYSELF(NO MATTER HOW IMPOSSIBLE IT FELS)TO DO ANYTHING PHYSICAL? PLEASE HELP OR ADVISE

You can definitely take Xanax at prescribed amounts, with Suboxone. You can take any benzo with any opiate as long as you take it as directed by your doctor. It is not life-threatening by any means. The fine line falls between abusing these drugs or taking them as prescribed. Also, rather then ask a bunch or non-professionals on the internet about how to take medication, ask your doctor or study pharmacology like myself.
