I'm wondering if anyone can help me out.
I'm a 20 year old male in good physical condition and since I've been been about 12 I occasionaly experience a sudden rapid heart beat, normally during physical activity. My heartbeat will be normal for whatever activity I'm doing and then suddenly for no reason it will increase to what seems like 250 beats per minute and will literally be beating out of my chest. When this happens I sit down, breathe, and try to relax and whithin a few minutes it slows down to normal. During this time I become light headed, feel dizzy, and sometimes see stars. This has only happened when I'm playing a sport (basketball, frisbee, football) and never when I am running for exercize. And it has probably only happened to me about 20 times in roughly 8 years that I've experienced it. Can anyone tell me what it might be?

Iam 26 years old female and I am in good physical condition, I suffer from fast heart beating even when resting. this appears every now and then. Today i was in a middle of a meeting at work when my heart all of a sudden was throbbing out of my chest and i felt like i cant breath, i freaked out and thought that i am in the middle of a heart attack. the problem is that i have been trying to eat healthy for a while, giving up all junk or greasy food. But i drink Caffeine especially green tea to sustain my weight ,Do you believe this could be the reason?!
