I'm not sure how much the cost is. At the fitness center I use, there are headphone jacks on each piece of equipment with 10 different selections to tune in to radio stations, cd's that vary or the 5 tv's that are suspended up front. It's nice because the place is quiet if you don't have headphones, but it's a wide selection if you do want something to listen to.
They used to have the PA system like you have. Personally, I didn't care for it. :shrug:

You're gonna have to have something for the younguns like myself. 2 most popular radio stations in the gym are modern rock stations. Should have different playlists for different people. Then they could request a playlist, but it's still controlled by us. That way everybody gets a choice Just a suggestion boss please don't hurt me

This is darn near the exact same set-up at the center I go to (and you have been there, Deb), except you don't have CD access, and it is noisier.
