I'm 48. Been 100 lbs overweight for 20 years (kinda lost it after my youngest brother died at 21). I lost my job about 2.5 years ago and haven't been able to find a new one so I didn't have insurance. Anyway, for about 5 months now I've been feeling nauseous - at all times of the day. Just to be safe I took a pregancy test. It was negative. Then I found a crusty mole. So I panicked and bought some insurance - even though I can barely afford it. Yeah, yeah, stop feeling sorry for yourself. My doctor confirmed what I already know, that I'm diabetic. Duh! You can't be this fat for so long and not suffer the consequences. But my doctor didn't really have an explanation for the nausea and wanted me to get my blood sugar under control. Well, I took it very seriously and kept the count to 105 or less for the first week. However, I am still nauseous to the point where I have to I'm worried that she's kinda dismissing the symptom. Any suggestions/comments? Thanks for any information.
