I have been experiencing panic attacks when getting ready for bed. Though, I don't feel panicked. My heart rate triples, I have trouble breathing, I'm cold and sweating at the same time and I'm nauseous. Very nauseous. 5 years ago, I had the same problem. It was never diagnosed as a problem, just went away on it's own. After 7 months of sitting in the bathroom for hours, crying and trying to throw up. Things are not as severe now, because I know what to expect. It's only at night though. I can go in to take a nap at any time during the day, and not feel these sensations, but at night, when crawling into bed with my husband, I feel awful. This didn't start up again until mid last month. I can't find any research about it anywhere on the internet. I just want to feel better. I'm losing sleep because of this because I just sit up for hours. I'm tired during the day and have no motivation and cant' sleep at night. Please help!
