I was chagrined to find an unknown bleeding after showers. The first time I couldn't figure it out and then the second time it seemed to be when I dried the scrotum after showering. Here is a link that I found to be a source of explanation and relief

I suffer from this condition from time to time. I notice this after I shower usually after i dry off. I get these tiny red bumps out of nowhere and if i pop them i bleed like crazy but the bleeding will eventually stop. Then later if i accidentally rub across that area again it will start bleeding again and the red bump usually returns and I'm right back where i started. I am not sure why this happens but I am very healthy and have been checked for anything out of the ordinary and was issued a clean bill of health. So I decided to to wait until the bleeding stops and put a spec of superglue on the spot. Sounds crazy i know but it works like a charm. No more bump!

Hi ,53 years old.Bled for 3 hours 1 st time after stepping in shower.Bled 2nd time ,1 month later for 10 mins ,again after showering.I noticed from reading these complains(and others) that most of the bleeding occurs after or during shower.I was very careful since the first time not to scrub my Sac.
My biggest fear is bleeding to death if this occurs during sleeping.
I am on blood pressure med.Anyone else ?if so which one?

Happened here for the first time at 52. Had recently started taking two showers a day and lots of soap in that region.

Happened after the morning shower and called in sick for work with excuse of pulled muscle in lower back which, although true, the real reason was too embarrassing, especially not knowing it was a common occurrence.

Many thanks to Doug and thank god for the internet. It's incredible how ignorant we all were before it brought people with common concerns together.

ps Also used the super glue. Thanks to the other posters for that tip.

Thanks...this was the best explanation I have heard so far. Been suffering with this condition for many years. Quite a problem when it occurs after a shower and you have an urgent appointment. Will now use aloe several times a week and hopefully that will help.

Thank you for the info, it definitely makes sense.

Just put some cotton at the spot, and in a few minutes it will stop. Apply some powder optionally. On a longer term, apply aloe vera kind of moisturisers.

I had this issue once as well. Oddly enough applying a warm rag a couple times stopped it in about 5 minutes. That's for the weird, blood coming from nowhere issue.

To stop the bleeding I found very simple way, to take the couple sheets of toilet paper and press against the bleeding spot. It will stop. Then put on a pair of tight fitting short to hold the paper tissue in place. In a few minute the bleeding spot will seal up.
