I've had a breathing problem in which I need to breath consciously and I have trouble if I do not hit what I call a sweet-spot, where my problem is settled for a short time (Can last minutes, can last hours.) I've had this problem since July.

I've also experienced testicular pain. My brother had a testicle infection when he was a boy, so is it possible for testicular problems to be hereditary? The pain has increased since late August, in which they hurt when I walk AND while my breathing problem is in effect. They can also just hurt.

I also have no knowledge in human anatomy but sometimes I feel the pain traveling up a tube to my back (Kidneys, maybe?)

I am scared of having cancer or an infection. Please help? I'm really confused and only 14.

I've also pondered the possibility of testicular cancer spreading to my lungs? Is this possible?

Hi,

First thing, anything is possible.

Second and much more importantly, NOT EVERYTHING IS CANCER.

What is the breathing problem that you have? What did the doctor say it is?

Lots of people always assume the worst. Lets not do that yet. There are many other problems, some minor, some not so but that are completely treatable. Have you checked for lumps? An infection of the testicles is not really something that would be hereditary. It is possible that you do have an infection though.

OK, I assume, and could be wrong, that you are a virgin. So can we rule out any STD's? Do you have any discharge from your penis? Do you feel pain when you masturbate? Could it be "blue balls?" Do you urinate frequently, just in case it is a UTI. The pain to your back could also indicate kidney stones. They are becoming very common in teens. Do you ever see red or brown when you urinate?

Post back with these answers and anything else you can think of.
