I suffered a lisfranc dislocation 6 months ago. I tried PT but it has not worked. I will be having surgery in the next few weeks. Is any one familiar with the tightrope procedure????

I'ave had the tighrope procedue and the doctor states it worked well. However, I am still in tremendous pain. I've tried the tightrope, orthotics, and cortisone injections and nothing. So I'm scheduled to have the joint fussed in October.

When and where did you have your surgery? How bad was your lisfranc? How many tightropes?

I had a tightrope in June 2007, no relief. Tried injections. No help. I'm getting a fusion done in 2 weeks. They are going to do a bone grapt also. Anyone gone this rough. I'm so nervous!
