My husband had this done last friday.
He came home Monday. He is taking Lactulose
twice a day. He was doing well but now he's not had
much of a bowel movement and some confusion.
His doctor said to take and extra dose of the Lactulose.
But nothing happening yet.
Any advice would be helpful.

I also had the procedure done.i had to increase the lactulose from 1 once to 3 onces every 3 hours plus tacking Xifaxan550 mg twice a day. If it doesn't work I was told to use an enema every other day.hope it helps.
