Torn frenulum I'm 17

I'm 17 and was masturbating a couple weeks ago when I notices that the tip of my penis was hurting(where the frenulum is) but thought nothing of it then a couple of days ago I was having intercourse with my girlfriend when I felt a sharp pain where the frenulum is I didn't realize until after that I tore my frenulum completely there was a lot of blood and we were both worried I stopped the bleeding but now it's kinda painful and I'm wondering if I should go see a doctor, on other posts/websites people say that it heals by itself but I just wanna be sure what should I do again I'm only 17 anyone respond soon thanks in advance Tim
