Me and my husband had an unsafe sex on April 16, I am expecting my period April 20. The 1st day of menstual cycle last month was on March 20. Until now, April 26, I have not had my period yet. Could it be posssible that I am pregnant. I had a pills last March 1-5 to regulate my period since I suffered prolonged bleeding after my depo provera which lasted January 17. I hope you could help me soon.

Hi. It is possible that after the depo your periods will be irregular for a while. If your periods are irregular, you can look for signs to know when you are ovulating. One thing you should notice at ovulation time is a stretchy clearish mucous (you may have to check just inside you to find it). If you can recognise this, you will know when to have sex if you are trying to get pregnant or when to definately use protection if you are trying to avoid pregnancy. If your period was due April 20 then the 16th would usually be too late in you cycle to concieve. However, if your cycle has become irregular after the birth control, you may have been ovulating around that time. My only suggestion is to wait a couple of weeks and if your period is still a no show then do a pregnancy test (it will take a couple of weeks after the intercouse for a result to show)
Good luck
