Hello I am a 29 year old mom of 2. After my 1st pregnancy I began having periods that lasted 6 to 9 months of heavy bleeding. Which lead to causing me to become chronically anemic. I went once during the first 4 year to seek help and was told birth control. They did not help so I stopped and gave up. I had my second child no issues getting pregnant and both where healthy births other then I was unable to have then due to a narrow born structure which led to c-section with both. After my 2nd birth same thing periods came back extremely heavy bleeding. This has been going on now for 10 and half years of my life. Talk about miserable. About 4 years ago I finally went to get help. I was first tested for thyroid issues. Hormone levels came back normal however was discovered I had 2 large mass in the thyroid gland and had to have it removed. That's a whole other story. Anyways I began having every kind test ran u name it I'm sure it's been done. And believe it or not every thing came back normal and healthy. I don't have cyst, no endometriosis, no fibroids, no cancer growth, cervix healthy, my doctor said my uterus lining was thick but came back all healthy I barely had any scar tissue from the 2 c-seaction. Last I saw my gyno she no joke put her hand in the air and said "I'm sorry and I know this sounds bad but I have no clue what's going on with u." So here I am chronically anemic filling like death I currently bleed 3-6 months at a time heavy bleeding thick large blood clots some the size of my hand. It's been such a burden at times I'm bed ridden and can't even pad up enough to get to the store or work a full time job. Being on my feet and activity increases the flow and I am left running back and forth with blood pouring our of my. I do see a hematologist for the anemia. I have infusions which don't really help cause I just keep bleeding out. He's said I don't know how u r still alive. It's like your body is holding on to what ever it can to keep u afloat. I have been tested for bleeding disorders and those came back healthy and normal as well. I have tried birth control and IUD. Didn't work. Pretty much I've been left with the only other option is a DNC . To burn the uterus lining in hopes that will temporarily fix it. But this leaves me still with no answer to why I bleed. Am I seriously a mystery Of life?
