Hi. I've read all the forums on brown discharges but none seem to match my symptoms. I started having a discharge from my urethra (felt like I was peeing my pants) a day or two after my period, they were fairly clear at that time. now - a week later - the discharges are frequent and are dark brown. I have been married for 15 years and even when we have sex we use condoms. What could be the problem? Anyone out there with an answer?

Hi! I need to ask you if the discharge was from your urethra or from your vagina because there’s a big difference.
Discharge from the urethra can be clear, white, bloody or brown. Brown color indicates small amount of blood.
There are many possible causes of urethral discharge and they are inflammation of the urethra or bladder, infection of the skene’s glands, which are situated alongside the bladder, over active skene’s glands, and even cancer of the urethra. Some std’s can also cause it but that is obviously not your case.
The only thing you can do is see an urologist or gynecologist, take some tests and determine what the discharge is all about, so that you could act on it appropriately.
On normal circumstances, there is usually no fluid from urethra.

i am 17 years old i have been with my partner for a year and i have been on birthcontroll for just as long i recently decided we didn't need to use condoms because it was painfull for me. i went and got my first pap smeer. and things where fine i had a wet prep test done and i have a minor vaginal infection that every woman gets at least ounce in their life so i wasn't worried i was given medication. and was told to take it ounce a night i wasn't supposed to have sex while on the medication but i did and now i have brown discharge and my vagina is very iritated. i stopped taking the medication cause i dont' know whats caused the iritation. can anyone give any help at all??
