I have a bladder infection and I have had it for a few days now. I am on the birth control pill and my periods are always regular and I know that they come on a specific day as I have been taking it for over a year. I was supposed to get my period today but it hasn't come yet and I was wondering if a bladder infection can delay my period or if it is something else. I have had unprotected sex recently so I am a little bit afraid it might be more than a late period. I had unprotected sex two days before I started taking the sugar pills in my birth control, but I don't know if that has any significance because I am hopefully protected by the pill (if not please give me some info on that!). Also, could it be the type of antibiotics I am taking for my UTI that are causing it to be late? Thanks!
