I have a bladder infection and no period. I'm worried that I may be pregant because of the missed period. Could it be possible that the stress and worry along with the bladder infection has caused my period to be delay? I have looked on the internet for information and haven't found much. I HAVEN'T HAD A CYCLE SINCE NOVEMBER 7,2008 BUT THE HPT GIVE A NEGATIVE RESULT. I JUST LEFT THE HOSPITAL AND THE DOCTOR SAID I HAVE A UTI. IM JUST WONDERING IF THAT WILL STOP MY CYCLE? THE DOCTOR DIDN'T GIVE ME AN EXPLANATION AND IM NOT UNDERSTANDING.

Okay, so I just started my period -- 2 weeks late! I recently had a UTI and took antibiotics for it. Don't know whether the UTI or antibiotics made my period late, but it's here now! You probably already know at this point, but I hope this helps anyone who is worried. Don't stress, that makes your period start even later. Relax, and go see a doctor!
