I started off with a rash on my lower extremities about a year ago. My fam. dr. sent me to a dermatologist cause he's never seen it before. My derm. diagnosed me with vasculitis and said it would go away in about a week or two....a year later...it's still here. The rash has spread to my stomach area...it comes and goes. The problem is for about a year, I have had large amounts of blood and wbc's in my urine. They cultured my urine and found it wasn't growing which they said means I don't have an infection....so why do I have all that blood and Wbc's in my urine? They said the believe it is leukocytoclastic vasculitis....is that what is sounds like? I see a rheumatologist now, he doesn't know if it is auto immune or not...he's not really sure what to do. He put me on prednisone for fatigue (I get fatigued really bad, the prednisone is helping, but I find I still have bouts of it. I don't know if it is when I'm inflamed or not...I don't always see a rash when I have the fatigue) and plaquinel. He thinks that might help...but I don't think it is. I am so confused and I am so tired of not really knowing what is wrong. Please help me understand if you can. Thank you for your time. Also...I forget to tell my dr. this, but I get heartburn ALL the time, and I get nausea and headaches more often, sometimes daily...does vasculitis have anything to do with that?

It sounds like you have several things going. I think you need to get a complete CBC and blood tests for diseases in the blood, not that they will find any, it is good to know if that is what is causing all your symptoms. Sometimes these symptoms could be minor problems and you need to know in order to stop worrying. Get a doctor who will level with you and tell you what you have.
