What are are referring to is actually called Wegener's Granulomatosis. It is a very rare form of vasculitis, that affects very few people. It's also seen as an illness of irregular immune function, and the cause has remained unknown. Symptoms can be all encompassing - fever, weight loss, persisting cold like symptoms, eyesight problems and ear infections, joint pain, fatigue and blood in the urine.
