hi i have a problem which is really bothering me now. ive been sexually active since i was 16 and ever since then ive always lasted plenty long enough to never get a complaint, however! a little while ago i managed to snap my frenulum. i went to the doctors and he said to just leave it to heal instead of re-attatching it. so it has healed and has been for quite some time now, the problem is tho when it gets to intercourse if i last more than 30 seconds im doing well. now my girlfriend says she doesnt mind but i can tell it she does and it is really worrying me now that i wont be able to satisfy her any more. so has anyone got any ideas of what i can do to last longer??

Wow, someone with exactly the same problem as me, this is a pretty scary thing, I've always had a great sex life until I snapped my frenlum, went to the doctor, he says dont worry it'll heel and everything will be ok, rubbish. This has really messed with my psyche i've been in this position for about two years now still with my same girlfirend (six years now), but we just dont have a sex life anymore. I get jealous and paranoid cos I cant satisfy her in bed anymore and I haven't a clue what to do?? Turn into a monk and abstein from sex for the rest of my life!!?? I've been considering going to the doctor and asking for the snip as I heard this might help? I really dont know what to do, anyone with any decent advise on this subject would be most welcome.

dang bro don't get the snip that's cutting the tube the sperm comes down so you wont ever be able to have children.. perhaps just wear a double layered condom, so it satisfies your girl and makes you happy.. may not be pleasurable but hey..

When youu think about it, it's perfectly natural. With the frenulum gone, the glans in your penis are more exposed as the foreskin and retract further with nothing holding it back. Therfore, your penis is more exposed. YOu're just using a part of your penis that was never stimulated before. There are de-sensitizing sprays you can try. Also, a thick condom may help. Another thing you can try is a lot more foreplay. THis way, you'll both be more in the moment...and even if the penetrative side of the sex doesn't last quite as long, you'll still feel like you've had a good go and should be be satisfied.

Also, try just having sex as much as possible and desensitizing that area...even try rolling back your foreskin under your clothes whilst you're at work etc. This will also help to desensitize the glans and help you last longer...although it'll probably be very uncomfortable for a little while.

Hope that helps!!

guys, if you're not using condoms then i would suggest trying them as they should decrease sensation and help you last longer. if you already are, try thicker ones. i would reccomend against desensitising agents as they may prevent you from telling if something has gone wrong because pain won't be so obvious, they also tend to desensitise the woman as well.

Guess what i've gone and snapped my frenulum too! Not the best experience for me and my girlfriend who was sat there with her head in her hands crying saying 'sorry, i can't believe i broke your penis'. Good news is that it can be fixed relatively easily guys.

I don't recommend getting circumcised like some people suggest unless you want to but look up frenuplasty instead. Relatively painless back to a normal sex life after just 4 weeks.

Hope this helps

the only real thing i can think of to make you last longer is to use them special condoms which have slight anasthetic in them so it numbs your penis, either that or use it the other way round to make sure she doesnt scream the house down 8)

I actually have the opposite problem! It may sound great but believe me it is really frustrating! I broke my frenulum about 6 months ago. It has now healed but the resulting scar tissue over the frenulum is less sensitive than before and i can't cum. This is really frustrating for both myself and my girlfriend. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do?

Hey, avoid having a boner. That'll help in the healling process. If you do want to masturbate, it will be hard time, I speak by experience.
Try not to get your foreskin back and forth too much in general.
