Hello, folks. I have been diagnosed with amblyopia, but this has been found little late. I am 25 years old and I would like to know what can be done about this at my age. I would really appreciate if anyone could tell me something more about this. I hope someone will know to help.

Hi, there. Amblyopia is also known as lazy eye. It has two forms. One is strabismus and the other one is toxic amblyopia. I am afraid that all the corrections should be made in early childhood. I am not sure about your age. You should discuss this issue with your ophthalmologist. Perhaps, he will have some solution. Kids usually wear patches, corrective glasses and lenses, have special eye exercises... I hope some solution will come up. Bye!
