garbage man. I thought it was so neat that they rode in a big truck and got to sort through people's junk and even keep some stuff if it was still kinda good. In Kindergarten I decided to be a magician. mow i'm a musician, and those are both "m" words that sorta sound alike and entertain people and make them happy so, I'm not too far off on that one.

marine biologist, dolphin trainer, UN translator, clothes designer, artist, world traveler, peace corps worker. These were mostly from pre-teen years. I don't remember before then.

Went from wanting to be cartoonist (talked out of that by high school counselor, bad decision to listen to that nitwit) to a marine biologist (talked myself out of that one after 1.5 yrs of college) to back to the drafting board as an apprentice draftsman. Have since gone from drafting on the board (how archaic!) to basic CAD to 3D Modeling (Unigraphics for you CAD nuts out there) and then switched off to programming robots for a few years. That got old so I went into tool and fixture design and for past three years have been a facility engineer. Jackoff of all trades, master of none.....

I wanted to be a Marine and an Electrical Engineer. I still think about trying to get my commisson, but I can't afford the pay cut and the Corps doesn't have much need for an EE. Besides being a 30 year old 2nd Lieutenant would kind of suck.

An audio engineer. I even went to school for it. I worked in a couple of recording studios (I worked for Cy Curnin of the Fixx and I worked in Cove city sound were Early Taylor Dayne recorded).
After working numerous 100+ hour weeks for about $100 a week, I decided it wasn't for me.

I wanted to be everything at some point, kinds like now {sigh}.
I remember I really wanted to be a rock star or somebody famous so I would be on TV all of the time. The closest I've gotten to that is a short film done for a friend's school project that aired on public access for a while. I still don't kno what I really want to be if I ever do grow up.
