Hi, I am 45 years old and I am having some serious stomach problems. Actually, it is more in the abdominal area, and I went for the examination because of the pain. Preliminary results were mentioning diverticulitis, but the doctors are still not sure. I would like to know what exactly is that condition and how will it affect me? Can it be treated effectively?

A friend’s father had that condition and as I can recall it, it was not something mild at all, but the doctors dealt with it. It had something to do with the intestinal inflammation and infection and the main symptom was abdominal pain, the one you have mentioned. I think that my friend’s father got well just from taking prescribed antibiotics so let’s hope that will be your case too.
